The Carolinas Association for Food Protection (CAFP) was reestablished in 2025. We are an affiliate of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP).
Mission
Carolina's Association for Food Protection (CAFP) shares the same mission as the IAFP. We are committed to advancing food safety in the Carolinas by providing a forum for food safety professionals to exchange ideas on protecting the food supply.
Goals
For the newly reactivated Carolina's Affiliate, we have several goals for 2026:

To provide networking opportunities for food safety professionals throughout North and South Carolina, including industry, regulators, and academia.

To provide opportunities for students studying food safety in the Carolinas, such as scholarships, presentation or poster opportunities, and professional development.
